Version and options

FastTracer is available in two different configurations, depending on your needs:

FastTracer FULL

Triaxial vibration measurement and analysis system that sends the three acceleration channels to the USB port and allows all the analysis and integration functions of FastTracer and all software programmes available for the FastTracer device to be used. This is the only version compatible with the Wireless FastWI communication system.

FastTracer PA

Triaxial vibration measurement system that sends the acceleration data to the USB port in real-time and communicates with the PA Communication Kit (which contains Microsoft® DLL and NI LabView™ programming libraries).

Customers who wish to use FastTracer PA with the FT Analyzer or Esplora3D software will need to upgrade their device by purchasing an additional FTAnalyser Licence.

Three different versions of the device are available for both configurations according to the full scale value: ± 2 g, ± 5 g, ± 18 g. The different configurations of the 2 different FastTracer packages are shown in the table below:

SOFTWARE SUPPLIED WITH THE PRODUCT

• FTAnalyzer
  software for real-time or off-line vibration analysis, saving measurements and generating automatic measurement reports.
• Esplora3D (beta version)
  software for accurately comparing vibrations with configurable threshold values to check that mechanical vibrations are within the required range and signalling any faults or vibrations that are out of range.
• PA Communication Kit
  a collection of Microsoft DLL and National Instruments VI software libraries for integrating acceleration data acquired on the three axes into a software developed directly by the user (written in languages such as LabView, Visual Basic, Visual C++,…).

Accessories

	FastWI WiFi communication module for remote access to vibration data. It requires a 24 volt power supply. The FastTracer device (only the FULL version is compatible) is connected to the FastWI (which also has magnetic feet for attaching it to the machine being tested). Once the device is configured in the company’s WiFi network, vibration data can be displayed in exactly the same way as if FastTracer were connected to the PC on which the analysis is being performed.
	EXTENSION CABLES The 3 metre communication cable is suitable for use in extremely harsh and electrically noisy industrial environments. The data signals are then converted into USB format (via a circuit inside the cable) in the final part of the cable. Extension cables are available if necessary. These must be inserted upstream of the USB conversion (using a pair of connectors on the FastTracer cable) and must guarantee maximum reliability of communication up to a maximum of 30 metres. 	FASTTRACER PORTABLE CASE FastTracer is always supplied with a practical case (18 X 20 X 2.5 cm), designed to fit inside the PC carrier case. The case is extremely robust, to withstand service in the workshop environment, and safe, in that it shields the magnetic field produced by the FastTracer’s feet to protect the PC hard disk, credit cards, etc. Each FastTracer comes with its own specific case. Additional cases are available upon request.
