SEQUOIA started business in 2000 to exploit the experience gained and research performed during the participation in Simon European Project on the study of vibration phenomenon induced by the microfracture of tools.
In 2000, the SEQUOIA AUTOMATION research centre was founded in Chieri (Turin), where it continues its work and is well known for Kite Wind Generator Project.
In 2006, the positive results obtained in the development of vibration analysis instruments and the important commitments assumed in the research sector led to a separation of the activities and the establishment of SEQUOIA IT as a company specialised in the production and sale of EXPERT VIBRATION MONITORING SOLUTIONS.
